With access to various studios in Los Angeles and Wisconsin, Amunson Audio was founded in 2012 for the purpose of maintaining the cinema quality standard of sound for filmmakers in the modern digital era.
While attending The Los Angeles Recording School, and part-time intern at Sound Rage Audio, Patrick Jae Amunson assisted in the Sound Editorial for feature films and worked on over a dozen student thesis and short films for The Los Angeles Film School and The New York Film Academy. After graduating with Honors and a degree in Audio Engineering Patrick was accepted as a full-time intern at Larson Studios where he assisted the Transfer Department, Re-recording Mixers, Foley Artists/Trackers, and ADR specialists in the day-to-day operations. While working at Larson Studios Patrick gained first-hand experience in the workflow and overall design of Post Production Sound on many television shows including Arrested Development, New Girl, Orange is the New Black, NCSI: Los Angeles and many more. More recently, Patrick is working at Sony Music Publishing ATV - Extreme Music/Bleeding Fingers in Embedding/Re-Embedding MetaData; vital for any keyword searching and royalty tracking.
Every film has a message that deserves to be heard and every director has a love for story-telling. My goal is to provide a comprehensive solution for anyone's needs, from Pre-Production through the Post Production stages of development in order to make one's vision a reality.
